Pluto loses its name from the planet list..

What !?!?! Pluto gone from the planet list ?
Oh man!!!

No more "Navagraham" ? How do we call it.. "ashtagraham"..?
If I tell that to my paati (Grandma) she would say "kashtakaalam"!

What do we do with the "pluto" God in the temples ?
Btw, do you know, which God in tamil is for "pluto" ? I dont remember.. Hmm...

What to do with the geography books now, which has "9 planets of the universe.."
If theres a multiple choice, with how many planets on the universe, with both "8 and 9",
what should we select ?
Well, I may not need to.. Poor kids.

If you feel its sad, that pluto is gone from the list, (Or feel a void)
maybe we can start.. "Pluto - grahathai aadharippor sangam" (Group who support pluto as a planet). Let me know, if you are interested.
We can chat about, whos the best "Trisha" or "Asin" in the group meetings. (dont ask me what this has to do with Pluto..)

Maybe in 2007 in "Who wants to be a millionaire".. there could be a question,
"what was the planet, that was thrown away from the planets list of universe.."
"(A)Earth (B)Pluto (C)Mercury (D) Moon (!?!?)"
(If I do happen to attend.. and if I dont remember, you will be my friend to call choice..
Do, remember this answer.. Ok ?

Btw, what are the other planets of the universe..
Actually, let me try.. Mercury venus earth mars pluto (Oops) what are the other four..?
Well on the bright side.. one less planet to remember..
or Im getting old.. or have alzeimers or have selective amnesia..

Is it really necessary to spend money on finding these things.. ?
I saw a movie last week, "Eight below".
The plot goes like this
"A scientist, travels to Antarctica, to get a stone fallen from the planet mercury (I think)
For that he gets the help from a guide and eight dogs.. (Sledge dogs.. to transport them)
Apparently, they can't fly (cannot land the plane) and cant drive there.
And its the start of winter. During the journey, the dog saves the scientist twice. Due to the sudden storm, they had to evacuate. Since theres no space in the flight, they have to leave the dogs there, for the next trip.
Obviously, due to storm there's no next trip. And the dogs are left on their own for 150+ days
in the winter, without any food. While the scientist, gets his applause for finding the stone.. blah blah blah.. The hero tries so hard to get back.. but couldn't. Eventually the scientist comes to his senses and helps the hero to save the dogs (already 2 dogs dead)". They show how the dogs struggle for food and to stay alive. But, people are spending millions to find one stone. I initially thought, that they would come to rescue, after a week or so.. But.. 150+ days.. Hmm.. poor things (I think, its based on a true story.. Im not sure though!)

Is it really necessary to spend money on finding these things.. ?
Well, then you can say "nothing is necessary in the world, except food and reproducing.. isnt it ?" (Thats a totally different blog)

let me stop my rant & rave..
Peace everyone!

Borrowed from another blog.. (Coffee cups)

First of all, this is not my own blog. I borrowed it from http://hiphopgmom.blogspot.com/

Coffee Cups
A good friend of mine sent this to me.I hope you also enjoy it--A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor.Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups, porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite. Telling them to help themselves to the coffee. All the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.Be assured that the cup itself, adds no quality to the coffee in most cases just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups, and then began eyeing each other's cups. Now consider this: Life is the coffee, and the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us." God brews the coffee, not the cups : enjoy your coffee.
